Following the closure of Culturgest, IndieLisboa – 17th Film Festival, which was scheduled to take place from April 30 to May 10, will now take place from August 25 to September 05, 2020. The 17th edition of the festival is screened at Culturgest, Cinema São Jorge, Cinemateca Portuguesa and Cinema Ideal, and besides films, debates, workshops, master classes, parties and concerts, brings to the city a special programme for younger audiences, with IndieJúnior. IndieLisboa shows works that are off the radar. There are more than 270 films screened every year that attract audiences and film professionals from all over the world, giving them the opportunity to discover recent films by emerging talents and to rediscover renowned filmmakers. This celebration of filmmaking stands out for its diversity, presenting fiction, documentaries, animation, experimental films, among feature and short films.
