The Chamber of Commerce and industry of Dubai, Dubai Chamber, announced that the fifth edition of the Global Business Forum (GBF) Africa will take place in Dubai on the 18th and 19th November 2019. Under the theme «Scale Up Africa», the Forum will bring together Government and business leaders of Africa and the United Arab Emirates to explore the ways of economic cooperation and to facilitate bilateral trade and investment flows. «The Forum offers an unparalleled opportunity to the main decision makers, in order to explore investment opportunities in Africa and create new partnerships that prepare the way for mutual benefits and economic growth», said Hamad Buamim, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Chamber. He added that «this year's theme highlights the importance of sustainable development as an engine and catalyst for economic and social progress in Africa». What this fifth edition of the GBF Africa does is part of the Global Business Forum series of Dubai Chamber, which focuses on emerging markets in Latin America, Africa and Commonwealth of independent States. In the last four editions, the Forum has hosted 20 heads of State and 95 Ministers and Government officials from the African continent, as well as 6300 business leaders, executives and decision-makers from 65 countries.
