Armani Privé's spring/summer 2020 haute couture fashion show was an ode to a dyeing technique called Ikat. This process, originated in the Indonesian region, has intertwined in the cultural stories of other countries around the world, becoming a hit in Western fashion, through hippie travelers from the 1960s. This type of pattern appears in the collection in wide trousers and wide skirts, but also on fringes and embroidery. Armani Privé's predominant spring/summer 2020 colour is electric blue, which was the big star on the catwalk. Embroidery, prints, bright, tulle with crystal and beads inlays are used with elegance and sophistication, characteristics which are always inherent to Giorgio Armani label.
