At the beginning of February, the French Maison Méditerranéenne dês Métiers de la MODE (MMMM) awarded Portuguese fashion designer Katty Xiomara the OPENMYMED award. The names of the 25 finalists, including the Portuguese fashion designers Estelita Mendonça and Katty Xiomara, chosen from several applications from 21 countries, had been published on the official MMMM pages and on social networks, but the same official page subsequently announced the 13 award winners, including Katty. Each winner of the 2020-2021 edition will receive 45,000 euros and participate in Campus Fashion Booster for five days in the French city of Marseille. The OPENMYMED prize, annually awarded since 2010, has the mission to support winners in three key sectors to establish their brands: strategy, communication and marketing.
