Le Mot is a brand that was imagined in Paris and created in Lisbon back in 2017, and it was born from the passion for words, especially French words. It is a unisex T-shirt and sweatshirt brand, printed with amusing French expressions, inspired by contemporary urban fashion and international street style. It is, therefore, a brand for people with a sense of humour and who like to use their favourite words on the chest, close to their heart. Le Mot's latest line, Le Basique, represents an important step on the path to sustainability and to a greater social and environmental awareness of the brand. It is a versatile and easy-to-use line, as it features three pieces of organic cotton and is certified with the standard GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard): a round neck unisex T-shirt, a round neck sleeveless unisex T-shirt and a white sleeveless top. This line left, thus, aside the phrases in French, giving way to basic neutral, as le mot, with increasing environmental concerns, wanted to create a more eco-friendly line, maintaining, however, the brand’s quality signature and the 100% national production.
