With the launch in its physical format postponed due to the pandemic, Rodrigo Guedes de Carvalho’s new novel – Margarida Espantada – has been launched in audiobook and e-book versions. This is the seventh novel by the author and SIC journalist, but Rodrigo Guedes de Carvalho has also written film scripts and a play. Margarida Espantada tells the story of a woman of the upper classes who is going through a major trauma. According to the author, «it’s about family. About siblings. It’s about domestic violence and mental illness. It’s a domino effect on pain».
