Since 1979, F. REGO, part of the Rego Group, has been one of the largest insurance brokers in Portugal. It offers unique solutions in the corporate market, specialising in business risks and investing in international knowledge-sharing networks. Over the years, it has been growing sustainably, always in step with new trends and global phenomena.
It is made up of several insurance brokerage and mediation companies, with offices in Oporto, Coimbra and Lisbon – it recently acquired WiseBroker –, and its management model is based on innovation. In its national and international holdings, it has more than 20,000 clients and 120 employees.
F. REGO’s commitment involves ensuring customised Risk Management, based on the concern for the best possible cost/benefit for the client. Given the challenges of the sector and the needs of each organisation, F. REGO offers a wide range of services, staffed by highly experienced professionals.
Through a single point of contact, the broker ensures the entire process of monitoring and managing claims in Portugal and abroad. It also develops international insurance programmes, ensuring full compliance with the legal and technical requirements of each location.
Within the scope of credit and financial insurance, risk protection associated with commercial transactions, both national and international, is a fundamental area of activity for F. REGO. Striving to respond to market needs, the company has teams specialised in the development of social and corporate benefit programmes, as well as Affinities. No less important is F. REGO’s extensive experience in monitoring merger and acquisition processes, ensuring the protection of all parties against losses arising from facts not disclosed in the transaction process.
In a challenging environment, F. REGO maintains its strategy of sustainable growth, based on consolidating its client portfolio, increasing its market share and maintaining experienced and specialised teams, ensuring an even more distinctive customer service.
This is the foundation on which F. REGO intends to remain: independent and with its sole commitment the respect for its clients’ interests. The REGO Group also has stakes in several companies: the Spanish broker Iberassekuranz, founded in 2011, with offices in Madrid and Barcelona; the Brazilian broker Sanyuu, which belonged to the MITSUI Group, and has been in the Group since 2016; the wholesale operator SEMPER; and Insur4Credit, incorporated in 2018 and dedicated to Credit and Surety insurance.
