Every year, thousands of visitors, attracted by the best snow tourism, visit the Lleida Pyrinees, the magnificent mountain range which form the natural border between the Iberian Peninsula and the rest of Continental Europe. The Lleida Pyrinees aren’t just a synonym of snow. Apart from the 11 ski resorts, that offer several sports and winter activities, this destiny, a Unesco world heritage, has a complete tourist attraction such as the wonderful catalan gastronomy, Aigüestortes National Park, or lake Sant Maurici.
Several stations at Lleida offer a special programme at Carnival like the one at Boí Taüll. This resort offers sport events especially organized to the occasion, music and games at their ski slopes and day and night entertainment for adults and children. At Port Ainé, on 2nd  3rd March, you may have fun at Carnestoltes party and win a double forfet, if you share a photo in instagram with #CarnestoltesPortAine. Also, from 28th February to 6th March one of Spain’s most outstanding carnivals called Festa de Interesse de Turismo Nacional: Solsona Carnival, will take place. Close to the ski station of Port del Comte, you may count with a varied agenda, among parades, masks contests and a lot of entertainment.
