It stands next to Arrábida, in the beautiful city of Oporto, where the horizon opens up to the river, its mouth and the sea. Given the breathtaking landscape, the name could be no other than: Panorâmico Poente. This housing complex, deployed 50 m above the Douro, contains 11 units. It offers 1-bed, 3-bed Duplex and 4-bed Duplex configurations that take the form of of detached properties with exclusive entrances for each unit from the road or the private parking space.
The project was designed by Lisbon-born architect Rogério Cavaca, who did his degree at the School of Fine Arts in Oporto. His CV lists more than a hundred projects, from school buildings or factories, to urbanisation plans and several residential buildings. In 2007, the opportunity arose to make the first outlines and give shape to the projects that, in 2017, would come to be called Panorâmico Nascente and Panorâmico Poente – the latter is located in Via Panorâmica and consists of typologies T1, T2, T3, and T4, integrated in an exclusive closed condominium.
Panorâmico Poente offers 1-bed, 3-bed Duplex and 4-bed Duplex configurations with exclusive entrances for each unit.
Although some of the Panorâmico Poente units are of the same configuration, they do have different characteristics. There is only one 1-bedroom unit within the complex, the amplitude of which multiplies the reflection of the light in each of its spaces, from the suite to the living room with fully equipped kitchenette. The 3-bed configuration includes the 3-bed Garden units – which can be found on floors 0 and 1 and which were designed for those who favour outdoor gardens –, one 3-bed River – which develops over floors 2 and 3 and enjoys a 180º view, from the Arrábida bridge to the mouth of the Douro – and one 3-bed Terrace – which develops over floors 2 and 3 and boasts a nigh-on 40-sqm master suite facing the sea. The 4-bed Terrace, developing over floors 2 and 3, has generous terraces, from which your eye is continually drawn to the sea.
Apart from offering all the exclusivity and amenities of a house, Panorâmico Poente also offers the possibility to access the communal areas of Panorâmico Nascente, such as the gym, the sauna and the stream bath, so that wellness, as well as the river, its mouth and the sea, is within the reach of everyone, every day.
