As this isn’t a film and we can’t just flick channels, some brands with a major presence in the fashion industry are working to provide help to the global medical community and to victims of the virus. Although the luxury sector has reported a drop of 23% in about two months, this has not discouraged some of the industry’s most important names. Donatella Versace and her daughter donated 200,000 Euros to the San Raffaele Hospital, in Milan. After donating the equivalent of about 2 million Euros to the Red Cross Society in China, French group LVMH announced that its factories would start producing large quantities of alcohol-based disinfectants, to be delivered free of charge to the French health authorities. Prada, Dolce&Gabbana, Elisabetta Franchi, Chiara Ferragni, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Alibaba, L'Oréal, Estée Lauder Cos. Inc., Shiseido Co. Ltd., Mango, H&M, C&A, Parfois, Luis Onofre, Burberry and Swarovski, among others, have also used their power for the common good.
