Sopro Jewellery brand, created by Andreia Lima, was selected to integrate the jewellery collection of the prestigious Hermitage museum  in Amsterdam, Holland. The invitation happened due to the inauguration of Russia’s Imperial Jewellery exhibition, entitled «Jewels! Glittering of the Russian Court», with more than 300 copies of great masters and jewellery brands, such as Cartier, Tiffany, Fabergé or Lalique. The exhibition, which is on since September 14th, can be visited until March 15th, 2020. The Portuguese brand Forest collection was chosen because of its aesthetic link to the exhibition, due to a contemporary approach, in which stand out both a connection to nature and to the detailed textures that define its pieces. Forest is a representation of the enchanted  nature of the woods and forests, which remain in Andreia Lima’s imaginary from her childhood and serves as inspiration for her creation. Berries, leaves and insects get delicate and feminine shapes in jewels that reveal the manufacturing details. Andreia Lima has a degree in sculpture and favours the shape and texture so that each piece has a life of its own. This is the case, for example, of the Water Lillys earrings from this collection, which «consist of about 400 petals, hand carved one by one». In Portugal, Sopro Jewellery is available at various points of sale and at its new online shop at soprojewellery.com. In addition, across borders, the jewels are already in nine countries, and internationalization is still a bet.
