anniversary, the technology company decided to take a look back at the world’s
most searched for moments, topics and personalities since it was first founded,
based on its search engine. Amongst the sports category is one of Portugal’s
greatest figures, Cristiano Ronaldo, the most searched-for sportsperson in the
last quarter of a century, who has now added another achievement to his list of
accomplishments that sets him apart.
According to the organisation, this year it is the elections in March, the Pope’s visit to Portugal, Hamas and the politician António Costa that represent the most frequent searches by the Portuguese.
