Located between Portimão and Monchique, Morgado Golf Country Club boasts the ideal setting for a memorable round, for players with a minimum handicap of 28 for men and 36 for women. The course stands in the Algarve’s hinterland, surrounded by farmland and nature, in a valley which guarantees a challenge for beginners and experienced golfers alike. Designed primarily as a parkland course, the par 73 and 18-hole layout contains links-style features, including Scottish influenced bunkers and flat fairways. Although the length of the layout is on the shorter side, the golf course is extremely challenging thanks to its technicality, containing a narrower area with smaller and very undulating greens, necessary requirements to satisfy any player’s expectations. Combining the Algarve’s most pleasant characteristics, Morgado Golf Country Club provides a relaxing and serene environment with its trees that are typical to the region, bringing an air of sophistication to the space.
The ideal setting for a memorable round

The location has a surprise in store for its players: the views of the hills of the Serra de Monchique and of lakes and farmland, capable of inspiring any golfer. It should be recalled that the practice area has already been welcomed by top competition amateur golfers and also by professionals, both at lower levels, and of European Tour standing. In addition to this course, the resort also features the Álamos Golf Course, each with a clubhouse to meet the practical and emotional needs of the sportsmen and women. They include changing rooms, a pro shop and reception, so that nothing is missing for the perfect round. The icing on the cake is the restaurant-bar, which serves as a meeting point for players, ensuring an iconic end to play.
